Nicknamed Honey Boo Boo, Alana and her family, mother June, dad Sugar Bear and sisters Lauryn, Jessica and Anna, will be the focus of the series when the youngest daughter isn't competing in pageants.

Sarah from Hertfordshire was 18 when she suffered a stroke during an English lesson.
